Description
Meditation Buddha – There are many different poses of Buddha and as an example, if you’re selecting a Meditation Buddha statue, face the statue towards an easterly direction. The meditation Buddha usually has its eyes closed or half-way closed portraying a meditative state.
Protection Buddha – The depiction of a seated Buddha with the right hand raised and facing outwards has two common meanings. The first is that of the Protection Buddha, as the raised right hand symbolically represents a shield. The second meaning, Overcoming Fear, is closely related to the first (since one who is receiving protection would be less fearful).
Change, Healing and Purity Buddha -This beautiful Buddha has robes made of peacock feathers with touches of Gold. The Peacock is a symbol of the change from the path of desire to the path of liberation. Blue is associated with purity and healing.
